Pros

1. The people: Leapgen is made up of the most kind, supportive and brilliant people I have ever worked with. I truly love the people I work with every day, it is what has kept me here for over 4 years. 2. The heart: The leadership team truly cares about and driving positive change in the industry and about the people who make up Leapgen. They are humble, kind and approachable people who truly care about the wellbeing of the workforce. Often checking in on how you are doing (green, yellow and red) then immediately responding with how they can support if you are not 'green'. You are encouraged to bring your whole self to work, be yourself, bring your ideas, be honest and be human. 3. Transparency: The company hosts bi-weekly all hands meetings where the values are celebrated, the goals are openly discussed and tracked and teams are encouraged to share customer stories to help other team members grow. The values (LEAP): Love, Energy, Audacity and Proof are celebrated, challenged and brought forward on a daily basis (both internally and externally). 4. The opportunity to learn: The companies brand presence in this industry is stellar. Leapgen has built a top-notch advisory bench. The most brilliant minds in the space. Learning from this group of senior consultants is not something you will find at other firms. 5. The work: Leapgen is a digital transformation company shaping the NOW of work. As an employee at Leapgen you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on a daily basis, work with incredible clients/ top companies and be creative and audacious in what you do.

Cons

As a small growing company there are of course challenges / opportunities to progress and mature, what makes the difference between Leapgen and other small organizations I have worked for is the transparency of changes and openness to feedback. There is lack of process in many areas which can be a challenge for individuals who thrive in environments with lots of structure and defined process. This could also be a pro -- because of this, each employee is encouraged to do what is best for them and in many times, new processes have been adopted broadly.

Pros

Very smart people. Defined goal. Decent IP. The small size means you the get to do a variety of work and learn. The company does good work and works with some very good companies.

Cons

With small companies comes small company problems. It is hard to have career goals with a small company. If you are early in your career and want to do a variety of things – go to a larger firm. The product is really not different than what is delivered by most other consulting firms and many systems implementers. I am not saying they don’t do good work. It is a revolving door. They hire a lot because people don’t stay. (Look on LinkedIn) There are a core group that have been there for a few years, but the number of people that leave in less than a year is surprising. Very click-ish. Don’t challenge any of the old guard. At times it was really hard to keep hearing about how great we are or have the same people facilitate an internal session since they only listen to their click. It got old fast.

Thank you for taking the time to post. So glad to hear the feedback on our brilliant team and great clients. However, we take your "cons" feedback seriously and are taking action in 2023 on many of the items you've identified. For example, we have 16 Leapers featured as speakers in this year's Fuel event and will be elevating many Leapgen voices both internally and externally throughout the rest of the year. Retaining our wonderful people will continue to be a high priority for us as we build the best place to work in Consulting.
