Pros

It is a beautiful place to work. The grounds are amazing. Employees have worked there a long time in many cases and believe in the work. Really nice, helpful people to work with.

Cons

The facilities and technology are really old. Uses all paper charts and documentation. CEO is a penny pincher and keeps all financial decisions cheap.

Pros

Poor Management and Leadership: If management doesn’t support or prioritize employees’ growth, this can lead to a lack of clear direction, poor team morale, and a general feeling of disempowerment. A hospital with poor leadership often has higher turnover rates, which can destabilize your work environment.

Cons

Stagnant Career Growth: If the hospital doesn’t offer a clear structure for career advancement, you might find yourself stuck in the same position without opportunities to move up or develop new skills. A lack of promotions or defined career paths can make it hard to progress professionally. Insufficient Training and Development: Hospitals that don’t invest in employee training and professional development can prevent you from keeping up with the latest skills and industry standards. This can put you at a disadvantage compared to peers in more supportive environments. High Turnover Rates: If a hospital has high staff turnover, it may signal management issues or poor employee satisfaction. Working in such an environment can make it difficult to build stable professional relationships and can increase your workload due to frequent staff shortages.
