Pros
Plenty of opportunity to prove yourself. It's as simple as find a gap and fill the hole. Of course you will be expected to do your normal job requirements, but if you can think outside the box and are willing to take on new challenges... your skills will definitely be used.
Cons
Private company with a culture change struggle. Over 10 locations and 130 years being in business are great, but change in business is essential. They are working on it, but the progress is slow. Also, there are many relatives and prior friends in the hierarchy. This does not help a culture for change.
