No training or support for managers - they take a warm body and give them keys to the shop and a laptop. More of a popularity contest than a meritocracy. Super demanding hours. Always a staffing crisis. Very much an “old vs new” attitude, if you aren’t part of the club nobody respects or takes you seriously. Poor communication from the top down. Women are not listened to, period. “Policies” are an absolute joke, if there is a standard procedure it’s hit or miss whether it’s actually followed and there is no accountability at the cafe level whatsoever. Huge lack of professionalism.
