Long hours but that’s the industry as a whole

The company will give a great introduction into the BIM world....but be prepared for some headaches along the way. Most employees are very nice and willing to help others who are struggling or have questions. They are always ready to take on work to stay busy.

Management is unethical and highly favors a couple individuals because of personal relationships. Known use of illegal software and stolen databases for autodesk programs. Undervalue their employees and give work away for free. Lack of professionals with real experience. Most of the knowledge was self taught by trial and error. Management expects a drafter/modeler to know electrical/plumbing codes as well as smacna standards to coordinate, detail, and model projects. They will also expect work to be done in an untimely manner because they fail to consult with an experienced drafter when bidding projects, thus cutting needed work hours short so they can stay within their budget. Superivisors do not give credit where credit is due. Overall a horrible work environment for anyone not in management.
