Pros
-Great place to start off a career in digital -You'll learn a lot about agency life and the internal workings of a company that experiences continual growth (in size, project breadth, locations etc) -Some of the most amazing people I've ever worked with and are truly lifelong friends (*this does not include mgmt team) -lots of fun activities organized by team leads (some are subsidized with team budgets)
Cons
Worked here for 2+ years, there are honestly not many cons about KG but the few that exist are significant -Management is incredibly good a leading the business but not leading people. There is a lot of trust in management to win business and grow the company which is obviously the point, but there is very little trust in mgmt from a personal standpoint. What does this mean and why is it important? -Zero interest in the personal or professional growth of teams and this comes across to employees as strategic ignorance, because it has been requested by several employees -In many cases, employees (consultants) are assigned to a project to act as a babysitter or to perform basic monitoring and reporting. For recent grads or people new tot he industry you will likely not notice this but eventually, you will plateau and the work becomes less interesting -NO HR department, nuff said, a company this size 100% needs an HR dept - No transparency into future goals of the company or key losses throughout the year. Only ever told what we've won, which is great, but employees truly interested in the companies health are interested in what is being worked towards and where hits were taken to learn how to get better -Zero follow through on requests/reports to mgmt of issues of any kind (upward communication)
