Pros
They hire talented people to work here
Cons
They have no idea how to run a tech company. The CEO has a great idea, but is horrible at making it profitable and creating a healthy company. He thinks AI can replace certain roles entirely, so at this company there is no product management, no quality assurance, etc. Engineering processes are HORRIBLE — they hire senior devs who spend all day vibe coding the requests of the CEO and then release those changes whenever they want, completely untested. Then, the solutions engineers will use the product and provide feedback… and that’s how they iterate… They recently shipped an entire new product that was completely untested, unless you count some really minimalistic AI written test cases. There are constantly issues with product quality, but hey — the CEO thinks AI can fix that. Let’s see how far this gets them — they’ve rebranded three times in a year and have been trying to do a very poorly coordinated product rebrand within the last 4 months. Maybe they’ll learn a lesson about an over-reliance on AI. Unfortunately you can’t have good software without certain components. Also, all the other parts about a good company — diversity, work-life balance, communication and coordination are all severely lacking as well. Unless you’re desperate, I wouldn’t consider a role here.
