Pros
+ The pay is competitive compared to similar roles in the Civil Service.
+ Very supportive management
+ Lovely Team (for the most part)
Cons
- There is no hybrid or remote working, and you are expected to attend the office for 5 days per week
- There is a strict office dress code where you are expected to wear traditional office wear (shirt, suit pants, dress shoes).
- Caseloads are very high (80+), predominantly due to an inability to retain staff.
- There is no flex-time or TOIL, so if your appointments run over, then you do not get this time back.
- The office conditions are poor. The building is freezing cold, and the car parking onsite is inaccessible unless you turn up to work 30 minutes early.
- There is no job autonomy, and your work is micromanaged live by an internal compliance team.
- Job contracts offered are usually around 6-9 months, due to a preference for business flexibility, rather than job security.
