Kite likes to talk up their culture. By culture, they mostly mean drinking almost constantly. People here often get drunk after work, which is typical but the problem is they also get drunk/high while on work hours.
I have seen supervisors and leads going into conference rooms, closing the blinds, and drinking large amounts of hard liquor. All while they are supposed to be working.
People show up to work clearly stoned. And smoke marijuana openly while on work hours. These practices show in the work. Employees go into the manufacturing drunk/high and proceed to make mistakes they should not be making. The things I've seen happening in the hood because people were intoxicated are terrifying.
Management has been alerted to this, but they overlook, and even condone this. This is because they are friends with the supervisors and leads who do this.
They continue to promote people who do this because they are all friends with each other.
To be doing all this, while putting out a product for CANCER PATIENTS is terrifying. If I was a patient, or the family of a patient, I would be horrified to know that the people making my "life-saving" drug are all drunk and high while working.
