Pros

Very few, it's just a good place to make mistakes as no one really cares about marketing. If you don't have extensive marketing experience and you want to learn. this is the place, but be ready because creativity is not valued at all. Data is the key for everything. There is a gym and some snacks, not real lunch even.

Cons

So many on so many fronts. Office location; city centre, you will spend tons of money in transport and loose patience everyday on the tube. Marketing is not really valued here, there is no intention to be innovative or try new things. Everyone is new and there is no clarity in who is doing what, so cross teams collab is a nightmare. Managers; there is no or very little management training (the company is not really invested in personal development) and some of the middle managers are unbearable to work with. Dictatorship is key in some areas of the Studio. Micromanagement is a daily routine. You can't even create the slides you want to explain your projects, as there are fonts guidelines even for the footnotes. Higher management; they don't really show up and make their role visible. During CEO Calls some of them make fun of the very serious questions some people ask. Asking is anonymous, because there is clear fear of retaliation. Which did happened. There is also a huge issue with King not being a safe place for work, which explains a lot already. Ways of working; it's very hard to understand where the company wants to go, the vision and mission are often forgotten by everyone. Furthermore, collab is not reinforced and there is A LOT of back stabbing within teams and cross functional. A lot of blame to past ghosts. Management is really bad in general. No leading by examples or coaching there. There is a lot of gossiping around, and managers do not back up their teams. Career opportunity is non existent. For women even harder, just look at the C levels here, only male. Compensation is below market and there is no RSU. Culture and values are non existent
