Pros
There is a lot of energy and from the outside it can look like a fun place to be. People are very nice, in a polite way.
Cons
I was at Kindred less than 6 months. This is not a con but a list of questions for management for reflection. 1. Have you ever had a person at director level that was a person of colour? 2. Have you referred to people of colour as 'fresh' or 'modern'? 3. Have you ever deliberately used people because of the colour of their skin to appear 'diverse' your the website? 4. Have you ever told people what they can and can't eat for lunch? 5. Have you ever had management struggle to pronounce a persons name and joke about publicly? 6. Have you a record of how long people of colour on average stay at Kindred? You are a PR agency and excel at reputation management. This post is not intended to make you look bad. This post is because I want you to wake up and recognise that it's not ok. There is shame in that but work through it. We're watching.
