Pros

I had an excellent experience at Kidde Global Solutions, starting as an intern and successfully transitioning into a full-time employee. During my internship, I had the opportunity to work on real-world projects, learn from experienced mentors, and improve both my technical and professional skills. The team was supportive, approachable, and always willing to help whenever I had questions. My onboarding process was smooth and well-organized, making it easy to adapt to the work environment. I appreciated the trust given to interns and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to projects. The company provides a great learning environment, encourages continuous growth, and recognizes good performance. The transition from intern to full-time employee was transparent and motivating.

Cons

As with any growing organization, there is always room to learn and improve, but overall my experience has been very positive.

Pros

So many great people that work there and are willing to help out when needed.

Cons

Sold to private equity who has set unreachable goals, resulting in a 64% quota increase for their salespeople. The culture and values that were there when I started are now gone and has resulted in a '"check the box" mentality, micromanaging, and a feeling of never being enough. Bonuses were lucrative when I started there, but are non existent now. Many changes and none are good, the sale to PE might as well been a deal made with the devil.
