Pros

The clients can be great, and for the most part the other employees below management level are great to work with. Not much to speak of beyond that, you can have all the activities, snacks and free coffee you can offer but if a company treats you poorly nothing else really matters.

Cons

The culture is horrific. They sit around and brag about what universities they went to even if it was decades ago. Doesn't matter what companies you've worked for or expertise you bring to the table it's what university you went to they want to know about. They judge your clothes, where you live, what activities you are into, judge everything about you like you are in high school again and talk behind your back. They do this with clients too. Even though those clients are what pay their bills they are nice as can be to the client's face but then rip them to shreds behind their back, they look down on everyone. Most unprofessional, disrespectful, snooty management team ever worked with. There's no such thing as confidential or private. If an employee makes a mistake or they have a judgement to pass, every single employee will know about it. Managers should take subordinates under their wings to train and grow them, not cut them down to everyone around them. Don't trust the reviews on here, notice how they are all less than a year who are leaving reviews, that's because management pressures new hires to leave reviews to boost their ratings. Churn is super high, average tenure is 1-2 years. While I worked there for two years some positions even turned over twice. Founder was/is still in charge. His daughter is also on the management team and seriously needs anger management courses. Not uncommon to see her yelling and belittling anyone that gets in her way. Nothing for her to bring an employee to tears. Yelling is also common at this company, almost like there's a 'yell / blame first, ask questions never' policy. Interviews are ridiculous, often asking questions that are intrusive and unacceptable. Think twice before applying for an account executive position. All tiers of management lacks ethics / morals. The owner also likes to hire young attractive (usually) women, and if any of the clients act inappropriately toward you at an event, the owner won't protect you. Company needs an HR department that will hold the owner and his kids accountable. Don't work for this company, wait for something better to come along.

Pros

Top to bottom I was really impressed by the kindness of everyone at this company. A lot of companies brag about this but it was my first real experience of having everyone genuinely care about me as a professional or as a person. I don't want to write a novel so I'll highlight the pros: - Real learning opportunities - there are a lot of people who have been growing their careers here and it shows with the wealth of knowledge -Fair Pay - at the end of the day, it's advertising and the industry is not known for the big bucks. BUT at no point did I feel I was being taken advantage of and they were transparent about what that looked like and the growth associated with it. - Culture - They did take it pretty serious, not at a surface level either and it was well balanced. - Variety of marketing - I have become increasingly tired of the "Digital Only" Agencies that exist. It was refreshing to actually see a true full service agency that not only claimed but executed media buys for TV and Digital, Creative, Web, Data, etc.

Cons

It can get BUSY - it's not a bad thing and it was refreshing knowing truly everyone above you was working harder than you and it wasn't rolling all down hill. They did a great job of keeping a normal work week but the 40 hours you are working can be INTENSE in certain times of the year. Even during intense period of work there were multiple Sr AEs who would reach in and help relieve the workload, even if it meant increasing their own.
