Pros

There is nothing as in best to work with this company except that the salary gets credited on time

Cons

If I talk about downsides of this company, zero management , No HR policies - on the name of HR they have no one to look after those issues. PM or Managers think that they are the king of the organization and will want you to work you like a bull. People who are working here since long think that they have bought a company and treat the new employees like hell. They will try each and every possible thing to make you leave this company. Having friendships with seniors can definitely work where the one has to do licking. of the one to get into the things. Personal life zero, Emotional support zero, Mental Health zero.

I empathize with your situation and review, and let me try to get a few facts out of the way first - * The HR person issued your offer letters, and in the last three months, we have onboarded an HR organization to manage our daily HR tasks. So I am not sure why you are not aware of this. * Any person who has worked with an organization for more than a few years feels a sense of ownership towards the organization, which is suitable for both the individual and the organization. This also means that they will have better relationships with the management than a fresher in the system. There is, unfortunately, no way around this, and it's just a fact of life. To address the problems you have stated in your feedback - * As with any project life cycle, there are times when you don't have work for even 4 hours a day and others when there is work for more than 8 hours a day. It's just how IT projects function, and while we try to ensure enough staffing is available, people fall sick, have to take time off for personal reasons, etc., and this means that other people in the team have to step up and take ownership. We only try to ensure this isn't a habit and no one individual has to go through this every time. * I am concerned that you have had people doing things to make you leave. I have never encountered such a situation, and I would be keen to address this problem if you could discuss this one-to-one with me. However, I must state that performance issues are taken very seriously. If this is why managers have had to let people go, then this is just a fact of the industry you work in, and whether it is here or anywhere else, this will remain constant. * We would love to provide emotional and mental health support to our staff, but we are a small company and cannot budget for this at the moment. I will, however, take this up with the HR team and see what we can do. Thank you for providing us with this feedback.

Pros

Been working with this startup since 2019 and found it difficult to agree with some of the reviews I chanced upon here. A startup always has challenges and to be successful and enjoy being a part of it, you gotta be a ‘tough cookie’! Extra effort will always be needed when you’re part of a startup! I see a lot of positives in a lot of places, salary always on time, learning courses available from day 1 on these training platforms like Udemy etc, genuine feedbacks with an arm around your shoulder, inclusivity on project challenges like on time deliveries (this is where it is expected to put in the extra hours, which is fair), consistent focus on better time management (trying to finish your work in the shift), getting together in office parties (we had 1 before covid) and then online birthday celebrations, planning ‘hackathons’, music, art, health insurance, covid jabs, etc etc. There is so much happening, but you gotta be a part of it to feel being part of it… No salary cuts during covid, none at all! Even annual increments were given to employees who have completed over a year on the company. Policies will get better as the company grows, I understand that as the leadership/ownership is also learning A lot of support if you or your family had covid or post-covid issues, I experienced all this first hand Senior roles in the company have been and still push each other to find work-life balance and push to try finishing tasks in those 9 hrs, and help distribute workload as well. But I understand as a startup, you try to bite more than you can chew, and that’s where it becomes important to share workload and say ‘no’ when needed.

Cons

Overall policies need more depth. I expect that will happen as they grow

Thank you for your feedback. And a big thanks for your understanding of what a startup culture is. This means a lot to us and i am sure acts as a good indicator for people who want to join us. I will be the first to say that there are areas we can improve on. But i/we prefer to do it collectively as a group and grow steadily.

Pros

Been working with Kamadhenu since 2020. Working for a Start-up business has many benefits including: Autonomy, Variation and Job satisfaction. However, as with any job, there are challenges of being a part of a growing business. I see a lot of positives: More responsibilities, Given more opportunities, Able to lot of different things, Learn from True innovators (CTO, CEO), Work gets recognised or it has a visible impact (like most big companies don’t), Atmosphere to work is literally awesome bro, instilled with the value of hard work, ownership, and self-sustainability, Surrounded by Passionate Team Members, and the list continues….. During pandemic times and still ongoing, guess this was and is the only company paying 100% salaries to the employees without any deduction or cost cutting like most big players are doing and even annual increments which were more than the industry standards. There’s no junior or senior culture in this organisation, everyone here contributes and is treated with utmost respect. The time someone new joins, management makes sure that they are aligned to the respective team/process and all the necessary formalities (email ID, laptop etc.) are also completed on Day 1. We strictly follow No Sirs / Mam culture. Learning courses available from day 1 on these training platforms like Udemy etc. And even a survey was launched by the HR team seeking feedback on what are courses the employees would be interested in and basis the feedback all the training programs have been purchased and links to the same have been shared. Once completed, they will be given projects and a panel of judges will be evaluating the same. During recent lockdown, when all of us were working from home; the management made sure that the employees are working only for 6 hours which promotes healthy work and personal life balance. When covid hit my family, the management was in regular contact with me offering any sort of help needed. Even now, Management made sure to implement alternate days of working; not only thinking about the employee’s health but also maintaining government norms to follow social distancing. From having online events to birthday celebrations, Reward and recognitions, planning ‘hackathons’, music, art, etc. is what the company is doing to make sure that this is best place to work.

Cons

Work on creating brand recognition for the company

Thank you so much for your positive review. It means a great deal to have our colleagues appreciate the work that is put in by all departments to ensure all of us are happy at work and want to continue to learn and grow. Brand recognition is something that we really are wanting to do and are trying different means for it. We want this to be organic and not in-organic via paid advertisements etc. I believe it's the people who work within the organization to be the best ambassadors and with a focus on the people, I do hope the brand also continues to grow and evolve.
