Pros

A television station is a fun place to work. Interesting guests from Sea World or the occasional celebrity would stop by to appear on the Midday Show.

Cons

The news business can be depressing with all of the crime and bad news that gets reported. Fewer people watch TV newscasts, so the station has to cut costs to keep pace with the slowing profits. High turnover at the station.

The KVUE Sales department has been a great place to learn and grow. Its not just TV sales anymore. KVUE has taught me about all the digital products like OTT streaming, Facebook, You Tube, ERN, and how that can help a business. They are also super knowledgeable about data and analytics, measurement of effective campaigns too. Promote from within. I've met some of my best friends here.

Cons

The office is dated. Break room could use an upgrade on healthy options.
