Pros
•Some supportive colleagues who genuinely care about their work. •Opportunities to gain hands-on experience and take on responsibility quickly. •I enjoyed the flexibility in schedule but no wfh opportunities.
Cons
•Severe lack of communication and transparency from management and HR, especially regarding policies that directly impact employees’ pay. •PTO was front-loaded, but I was never informed that if I left before the end of the pay period, I would have to pay it back. This was not mentioned during my exit interview, and I was told to submit my timesheet as normal — only to find out on payday that my final paycheck would be withheld. No notice was given prior to this deduction, creating financial hardship and leaving me blindsided. •Micromanaging, no training, paid way below average salary, and the company has a terrible reputation on not paying subcontractors on time. •Exit process felt rushed and transactional, with little regard for the contributions I made in my final weeks to train my replacement and ensure a smooth transition. •Overall, decisions seemed to be made at the company’s convenience without considering fairness or basic professional courtesy.
