Pros
Upper management don't talk to staff. Mostly good but not when it matters. The staff make the business, they work like crazy for very little in return. If it wasn't for the staff working above and beyond every day the business would fail. Its all about saving money and maximising profit "bonus"
Cons
Friends of friends work there and personal relationships interferer with the good of the business. Also things are seen but not spoken of. When things are broken they don't get fixed for months as apparently they don't have the money. It took 2 years to fix a simple safety issue (should of been done within 24hours). Safety on site is a joke. has got better but no where near where it should be. Safety issues only get fixed when upper management arrive or if there is a major incident on other site. The H&S manager dose not do enough at all even when people tell them of issues. They also tend to employ non English speaking workers which again causes massive problems. Maybe this is why it took so long to get an extra bin for the canteen and an extra microwave. They expect a whole shift to use 2 microwaves. In the summer it is dangerously hot in the factory and there is one tap for drinking water for the staff. They are also to tight to buy fans for the shop floor staff but office staff are happy to sit in the office with AC.
