Pros
The kids make it ultimately worth it! What the school stands for is great as well as the therapeutic techniques and individualized treatment plans.
Cons
The pay is honestly a joke. I think they take advantage of people who want to genuinely serve kids w/ special needs and don’t have much experience. It doesn’t matter what certification or degree you have, the pay will still be around the same. There isn’t much growth here unless you’re friends with supervisors and leads.
