Pros
Great co-workers, hardworking people who generally care about the customers and what they do. Could be a really fun atmosphere. Family like in a way, lots of food and parties and stuff if you're into that. Decent location. Dogs can be nice to have around sometimes. Some people there will really listen and try to help but they can only do so much sadly. Unlimited sick days and decent vacation. Lots of paid holidays. Maybe even trips to fun locations as a group. Flexible with appointments or emergencies that may come up in life. All in all from the outside looking in the place looks great but once you actually look around it's all a little sketchy. Anyone working there will tell you that. Some will be there for life because they see no point in leaving now even though they are frustrated with a lot of things going on... but most either already left or are looking.
Cons
No chance to move up anywhere, you can move positions but you're not going to make more money or feel more fulfilled for very long. Get use to being ignored when you have good ideas. You're pretty much screwed if you're a sales person. Unrealistic goals and empty promises are typical. Don't expect to do what you were actually hired for all day every day or even at all in some cases. Everyone takes on multiple loads generally more than one person should or could handle. The benefits are not great, though at least they have some. They claim to be flexible with hours but considering you work around the customer who is generally at work from 8-5 that leaves you pretty much stuck with that schedule unless you're the owners... Who by the way spend more time out of the office than in it following "self help guru's." Equipment and technology is outdated and causes issues often. They rely basically on one or two companies for all their income so if they ever lost them there would be a lot of trouble. The dogs as noted can be great but they can also be distracting and I've definitely seen them pee on packages and materials around the office. No competitive pay, they give you what they feel is appropriate and if you want commission you have to fight for it. Procedures are outdated and generally forgotten or pushed aside when understaffed which is all the time. The turn around rate is insane but after a few months of working here you'll get why.
