Pros

The hours are decent and the kids are great.

Cons

The entire school can be very cliquey. A lot of administration drives away staff, particularly ABA Instructors and so they are constantly understaffed, making everyone's job a lot harder. It's hard to get clear information for following treatment integrity; the Head Teacher will say one thing, the Program Coordinator will say a different thing, the written Treatment Integrity will say a third thing. There can be a lot of passive-aggressiveness--think a workplace filled with "nice" primarily white women.

Pros

I have loved working with the children here over the last five years! As a mother myself, the pediatric population is incredibly close to my heart. I am so grateful for the flexible scheduling that allowed me to be home whenever my own kids were off from school.

Cons

The benefits package could be improved by offering better health insurance and expanded maternity leave. We should also observe Veterans Day as a paid day off to support our veteran coworkers.
