Pros

Working here has truly been a positive and meaningful experience. One of the biggest reasons is how genuinely supportive and compassionate the leadership team is. The administration is always approachable, readily available when help is needed, and willing to step in to offer support during both everyday challenges and more difficult moments. What stands out most is that management understands employees are people first. They recognize that real life happens and that family matters. When personal situations come up, they are accommodating, understanding, and encourage you to take care of what is important at home without making you feel guilty for it. It is rare to find a workplace where you feel valued not only for the work you do, but also cared for as a person. There is a sincere sense that your well-being matters, and that kind of support creates a positive environment where employees can feel respected, appreciated, and motivated to do their best each day.

Cons

Working with children creates unpredictability at times. You don't always know what the day will bring even with the best laid out plans you have to pivot and change. Admin continues to assist with that and is there to help you come up with solutions.

Pros

I worked at Ivybrook with Pre-K students Monday-Friday 7:45am-12:30pm. I absolutely loved working there. The best part of Ivybrook Estero was their leadership team and teachers. My co-teacher was a joy to learn from and very collaborative with relaying information she learned from the year prior. The leadership team offered continuous training in the Montessori and Reggio Emilia early childhood education philosophy.

Cons

Honestly there are not many cons to working at Ivybrook. If you are looking for a part-time teaching role with reasonable salary pay, bonuses, and employee student tuition discount for your child, it definitely meets that! Given that it is part-time role, there were no traditional full-time employee benefits. If that is important to you then I would say that is the only con. I have no complaints, I feel like I got a great reward both professionally and personally for working here. I stopped working because I am pregnant and nearing my due date. But, I would highly consider working at Ivybrook again!
