Pros

Lots of properties throughout the US so opportunity to transfer if you want to relocate. There are a few good people in management who can teach you a lot about hospitality. Learn everything that you can from these people!

Cons

Compensation is a joke. Island consistently under pays for all positions in the market. You could maybe get up to 3% increase but don't hold your breath. Unless you are male and white, don't expect to be a part of their "Island Club". They take care of their own (meaning upper management) but couldn't care less about anyone else in the company. Loyalty to their employees isn't something that they possess.
