Measure sand all day for minimal wage - Lab Technician Intertek Employee Review

Pros

Minimal wage is better than no wage.

Cons

Spend 8 hours a day measuring powder, having the radio turned on all day to listen to 50% advertisement. One supervisor was a terrrible person. He was bullying his workers and all the company did was introduced rotating the supervisor 3 months. So, I met this POS who would be nice during the day shifts and night shifts would bully people. Should be fired but I guess keeping people at this job is more difficult. Probably because weekly change in working time is extremely unhealthy. DO NOT WORK HERE IF YOU WANT ANY OTHER CHOICE.

Pros

Fairly independent work environment, with alot of work variety at times. Lot's of PTO.

Cons

Minimal/few promotion opportunities. Stubborn managerial structure with too much penny pinching. Little incentive to innovate. Pay could be better.
