      Hazardous working conditions - Union that does absolutely nothing for it's employees acts and thinks like it is 19th century and is only concerned about it's existence

      Pros

      Used to be well respected in the area and stable. Decent severance.

      Cons

      No longer stable. Outsourced IT department in maintenance mode. Two consecutive years of major layoffs and countless plant closures. No advancement opportunities anymore.
