Pros

Good 'foot in the door' company with interesting work and an easy way to obtain a clearance. Easy downtown location with great views.

Cons

Ridiculously long hours, untrained and uncommitted management, little to no direction with very high expectations. Consultants are expected to last 2 years or less and are treated that way. No respect for you as a person, no respect for your personal life, no respect for you in front of your colleagues.

Pros

You learn a lot about biometrics at IBG, and because of its small size and high turnover, it is possible to get some real responsibilities.

Cons

The management does not care about its employees, and takes advantage of the younger ones. The pay is embarrassing. The hours are grueling. I have seen young employees put in hours upon hours of overtime, receive consistent praise, be "promoted" with an increase in responsibilities, with no increase in compensation. The management has "spies" among the younger workers and keeps track of who comes in late each morning. It is very disrespectful to the adults who work there. I wouldn't wish the environment on anyone. Also, the benefits are ridiculous. The health insurance is very costly so if you are seriously considering a job there (which I dont recommend), consider that about $200 of your monthly salary will be spent on health insurance. And the "unlimited paid vacation" is laughable - many employee's vacation requests are frequently denied and during reviews, the first thing that "management" (which somehow, for reasons I never understood, includes a 27 year old girl) does is look at the amount of vacation you took in the past year.
