Pros

- Impressive 401K match - Work/life balance That's really it. By the time I left there wasn't much left that's good.

Cons

- Leadership fought constantly, lots of plotting and alliances. - The direction/goals of the org frequently changed - Very little room for career growth (flat structure means lateral transfers, not promotions). - Pay was TERRIBLE, even by nonprofit standards (leaving to a similar job was a 50% raise) - Building is significantly too small for the number of staff, it's cramped. Lack of meeting space/ conference rooms discourages both privacy and collaboration. - People are given jobs they're not qualified for in the name of "growth" and at the expense of the company's efficiency

Pros

Positive work environment, promotes from within the Organization, helps local schools and communities.

Cons

There is no official new hire training. Ongoing training and education is necessary for current team members as well.

Pros

-Unheard of 401k plan--if you contribute 6%, they contribute up to 12%. -Great health insurance coverage through Kaiser Permanente. -Tuition reimbursement after 1 year up to 7500 annually or 30k total. -There's been a lot of tumult and change in the organization over the last 2 years since they left South Lake Union in Seattle and moved headquarters to Tukwila. It appears there are a lot of people that are incredibly unproductive that are being asked to leave and it's bringing in a lot of new, interesting, and competitive people. -Only financial institution I've worked at closed on weekends. -Sales and operation teams have generous compensation compared to other credit unions.

Cons

-A streak of "we do it this way because we've always done it this way" attitude. -Not a good place to work if you aren't okay with flexibility and ambiguity. -A tad disorganized, but with clearly good intentions and goals on how to become a more streamlined organization.
