The job itself is great! In fact, I’m happy to be moving forward in the same industry, just to a competitor who is supportive and honest and professional, unlike this ridiculous company.
Cons
The owner is a control freak with anger management issues who literally does not know what he’s doing. He continually crossed my boundaries (would not shut up about politics) and in the end refused to pay me for my final clients’ services. When I complained to his higher-ups, they did not respond. This was literally the worst job I’ve ever had. I’m happy to be moving forward with a company that cares about its people and doesn’t lie and cheat and gaslight. My final straw was when the owner insisted on going with me on an appointment and YELLED at me at the customer’s home (he was in the next room-within earshot). He insisted I go through the entire sales process, even when I tried to explain that I had already spoke to the customer on the phone. He would not let me get a word in edgewise, just kept raising his voice. It was over-the-top unprofessional! THEN he had the nerve to write an email-not to me-but to my husband??? This is an abusive, sexist, toxic workplace. I hate writing negative reviews, but this certainly merits one. BEWARE.
