Pros

If you're the kind of person that enjoys crazy deadlines then you would enjoy

Cons

Expected to work extremely late most days due to poor time management and planning from managers + extremely early mandatory monthly company wide meeting to accommodate 4+ time-zones, meaning some days could be as long as 12-13 hours. Not as open to critique and change as their "train story" would suggest. Asked to do personal projects for managers outside the purview of the business. Turnover of the team I was in was extremely high.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback. I would like to take the opportunity to address your concerns. Whilst we love including our entire global team on our Monthly All Hands meeting, as it’s a great chance to connect with international peers, we do recognise the timing can be challenging. Juggling three time zones doesn’t always work for everyone. As a result, we have made this call a recording where people can listen at a more convenient time. In terms of work hours, there are days where extended hours are required. This happens when we are working hard towards meeting a deadline or responding to normal IT out of hours tasks (like patching, P1s, client and partner requests etc…). We are proud of this. Insentra supports our crew to be high achieving in what they aim towards. Our crew love what they do, want to build outstanding careers, and thrive on delivery, even if it means occasionally having to work longer hours. In addition, our crew, are encouraged to take advantage of our flexible working approach. Our crew manage their own calendars and can set their start/finish times, go to the gym, have longer lunch breaks, pick up the kids or take time away where necessary. I would like to hear more about the personal project you were asked to do for your manager so I can investigate this. If you're happy to take the conversation offline, please shoot me an email at vibe@insentragroup.com Thank you again for your feedback and we wish you well on your next adventures.

Pros

My time at Insentra was marked by a lot of promises and a lot of hope, with fun people to work with, enjoyable work, until the culture changed.

Cons

I warned them that the culture was changing. They didn't listen. It became rather toxic towards the end, and I was set up to fail on a project I had no hope of finishing on my own. I asked for help from all geos, and it was refused. The project was delayed through no fault of my own, and I got the boot.

Pros

Remote work flexibility. That’s about it.

Cons

-Lack of vision from the top down - Benefits vary widely by geography. No parental leave in the US. Paid time off also varies widely. They hit the bare minimum country requirements and then preach how company culture is global. - No room for career growth - No room for training or specialization - Work environment and treatment varies widely across geographies - Work/life balance only respected in founding geography. All other geos are expected to pick up the slack. - Company culture replaced by “hip” music in AllHands meetings to distract from poor company performance and outlook. - Preach an open door policy but concerns are quickly silenced in conversations that are supposed to address them. - Employees laid off in some geographies and then similar roles hired in geographies that will cost them less $ - Leadership all close to retirement and just looking to sell their business.
