Pros

Get to work on large scale projects. The staff seems mostly friendly. No politics mostly I think this place is better for interns as they get to learn a lot albeit at the cost of ridiculous work-life balance, but they get work beyond their caliber because the office is filled with interns who have to commit to a lot of work as they come cheap.

Cons

Say bye-bye to the 'L' of life when it comes to work-life balance. Absolutely zero respect for employee's personal time. Once you get that acceptance letter, you belong to the office 24/7 x 365 days. You can get a call literally at any time of the day/week/year. Can confirm the 48 hr non-stop work story as I was in the same team as well. Nights and days, it's all the same. Upper management has only one tactic for anything you have to say- 'Then don't come to office from tomorrow'. All they do is threaten your job because they know you don't have a job lined up. So say no to job security. The basic financial philosophy is to hire a ludicrous amount of interns, some freshers for really really cheap and burn them out by working for as long as they can hold, since new workers are initially more motivated. As they begin to revolt or slack, replace them with another set of freshers-interns as they are always available in the market. This leads to poor quality of work and increases work time as a lot of time is spent explaining stuff to newcomers. The rate at which employees come and leave this organization is rather disheartening. You never get to settle with a team really because half of the team is interns who leave after 4-6 months and rest half leave or are shifted. Zero Growth - There is absolutely zero potential for growth here, not only in terms of positions but also in salary. I know people who are stuck (I use my words precisely) here for now more than 2 years with a stagnant ridiculous salary of 15K per month. Best case scenario- Management really likes you (not your work necessarily), you get an increase of 3k to 18k. No one sticks for more than 2 years as far as I remember. Learning - While the scale of the projects can be complimented, the variety can definitely be argued about. You don't learn a lot after the first few months because its the same work in similar kinds of projects. Maybe you become the ppt guy or the SketchUp guy. The kind of unnecessary pressure created by management can be detrimental for people entering the workforce as this can lead to a negative mindset related to work itself. Salary - There would have been an argument to be made after all the cons listed above if the compensation was more than adequate. Instead, the firm offers below market standards, much below expected standards, and much much below the recompensation standards for the amount of work employees put in. The employers have absolutely zero respect for employee's time. People get called to the office on Sundays, 'in case there might be work'. The same work is done twice and thrice because the boss doesn't wait to check the exact plot or anything in the race to please the client. Everything and everywork is ferociously urgent.
