Pros
ISE has great benefits and a lot of flexibility in work how/when you want to work. There’s a lot of opportunity to learn and a general spirit of collaboration that makes it so that anyone can have a meaningful impact on whatever they want to.
Cons
The same flexibility that makes ISE great for a while also bleeds into a general lack of organization that makes it so the company is always behind. There’s a lot of people just spinning their wheels in a way that ensures that the disorganization never gets better. As much as they encourage learning new things, there’s not really any room for advancement professionally. As much as the benefits are great, they habitually low ball people on salary. The culture of the company is really great for someone young, at the start of a career looking to learn a lot, but it’s not the kind of company that you can build a life at.
