Pros

Some friendly employees, flexible hours, easy work

Cons

Unfocused direction, every new initiative seems desperate. No room for growth, they have cut off most paths for promotions and have chosen to hire externally for positions leaving all supporting and entry level rolls to become dead-end jobs. Management pats themselves on the back when they do the bare minimum for employees. CEO and other executives are out of touch with employees and have no interest in any sort of culture or employee appreciation. When the company is in trouble, employees suffer and mass layoffs. Same problems year after year and they do nothing to address the real issues. Old school business practices, they refuse to evolve. Very low pay.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us and for having been a part of our team. I have to disagree that we never promote internally. We are so proud that out of the 21 people on our company’s current leadership team, 17 were internally promoted to their current role. That’s an 81% promotion rate! Of course we hire externally if we do not have the skillset available internally for a particular role. COVID presented some unexpected challenges for our business, and we did have to make difficult decisions around staffing. We are excited about the new, strategic solutions we are offering to our corporate and consumer clients and are continuously focusing on how we can adapt and grow! Sincerely, Christina, VP HR

Pros

I enjoy the work itself supporting individuals and families in transition with career and relocation coaching and support. Having worked at IG for several years, I continue to be impressed with the skills and talents that coaches and employees have but also the engagement and commitment to the work that we do. Like all companies there are people who come and go but overall I have been impressed with the longevity of many of the account managers, coaches, and senior leaders. Over the years I have seen many people come back as well. It's nice that when people take a new opportunity they go with good wishes and sometimes come back a few years later if new opportunities arise. I appreciate that even when working remotely and part time you can get to know others through All Hand's calls, and coaching trainings and meetings. Over the years I have also enjoyed being able to work on projects aimed to improve our service and delivery. Perhaps what I like the best is that the company and leadership team are always open to new ideas. Not all can be implemented or be implemented immediately but many are and this allows us to constantly be staying on top of the needs of the people we work with. We even have opportunities to meet in small groups with the CEO from time to time and this is always refreshing to hear directly from her but also to learn from others in the room from different divisions.

Cons

For me there are not a lot. We do have to provide our own computer and equipment which as a part time coach I understand. It would be great to have an annual allowance that we could use to offset some of the expenses such as a paid AI service or Adobe for example that some people take on to make work more efficient.
