Event weekends in Miami, such as SOBEWFF, Art Basel, and Formula 1, are particularly busy. This is to be expected at any firm that manages hospitality and lifestyle clients.

From what I've observed, workers are treated poorly (underpaid and overworked aka expect to work on 6 clients or more for under $50k. In this economy???) As an intern, I was promised to work along with the CEO but she was never I the office, if she was, she was "busy" or would leave early for a hair/nail appointment or happy hour with "clients" I ended up working closely with the employees instead. I learned a lot from those girl and from what I learned, they had to learn from each other since there was no onboarding/training process. Internship consist of unpaid parking, expensive lunches due to the area, flooding due to the rain (office is in Downtown), a lot of B.S./repetitive work, or you actually doing the assignment for her.
