Pros
I am a part time remote worker and I have to say I absolutely love my job. Not only is it very fulfilling to help people with their problem areas and see the relief that our solutions bring them, but it's also a great place as a woman and a mom to work. The company is very supportive, I have a child with special needs, and I have had to rework my schedule a few times in order to meet the demands of homeschooling and her therapy sessions. Every single time I've gotten myself so worked up with anxiety that they will get mad or irritated that I'm asking for another schedule, i've been met with support and encouragement instead. The goals are lofty, but that is expected in a sales position, so if you can't take the heat, then this isn't the job for you. However, if you can, you will be richly rewarded. The pay plan is great, I'm pretty new so still getting my legs, but I have made commission every month that i've worked. The Regional Manager for West Coast is AMAZING! She is very kind and thoughtful, and she is super duper supportive too. The culture is also fun, you would think working remotely you cant form friendships, but that has been furthest from the truth. I've met some really great people here, but you know what they say, like attracts like. The culture is fun, upbeat, competitive, and positive. Training was a little chaotic, but I think all new jobs feel that way. Once I got out of training it took me not long to really catch on after a few calls. The only areas of opportunity that I see for Ideal Image, is having more managers on the chats, because waiting for help can sometimes kill a deal, and also keep you off the phones for the next call. Some days its hard to get help, and it can be a half hour or more before you get recognized, and so during that time you arent taking calls while waiting. That can be stressful. The other area of opportunity is that the contests run company wide lean heavily to the east coast time zones. I don't often qualify for the contests because i start my day when the contest ends. Regionally we have contests, but so far I haven't seen one that I could take part in as a part timer. I did adjust my schedule though so I can get in front of some of the regional, and hopefully, national contests. I'm money motivated and super competitive, so I adjusted my schedule to hopefully give me those opportunities. As far as I've seen, the company is super supportive of their team, and they support diversity as well, which I love. I can't think of one bad thing to say really. I hope to move up into management at some point, and with this company, I think its very possible.
Cons
None that I can speak on. This a great company, the people and management are exceptional.
