Pros
Idaho Power pays very well, has good benefits - including a pension, and is a good company to work for. Lisa Grow cares about the company and the employees and is continuously working to make Idaho Power better for customers and employees.
Cons
Like any big company, local or departmental leadership is the driving force of the teams attitude and work life balance. This can be different across the company depending on leadership/team. Unless you work in Boise area, there are not a lot of room for advancement, as the skill level is very specialized in regional areas.
