Pros

Great company that cares for employees, great culture and people that want to do the right thing for customers, and the company is an IT company so is open to flexible work schedules (as long as customers' needs are met or exceeded).

Cons

There really are not any cons that I can think of; much of their work is as a contractor to the federal government, so is subject to federal budget cycles and contracting. INDUS grew out of the small business status, so now competes as a large business.

Pros

It is a job in my career field.

Cons

Issues with the uncomfortable environment at the contract location were reported to the program manager but were never addressed. It’s a little over a month now since I voiced my issues. No follow up call or email was ever received to say that they are addressing the issues. Your concerns fall upon deaf ears until you escalate it or it affects an “important person” directly. Contractors are treated as disposable and they don’t care how contractors are treated when at the contract location. The contract location treat direct government workers like gods and contractors like peasants. The job description for the job I was hired for was completely different from the job I actually do. The pay is low with no raises. I applied for another position within the company since they supposedly support internal hiring. I email my program manager to let them know I had applied and also to see if there was anything else additionally I could do to have a chance at getting promoted. They never responded. They just hired someone else. They hired someone outside of the company and they paid them $10k more at minimum than I make even though I was a current employee and highly qualified. They just hired someone else. They hire you for a position and keep you there, there are no advancement opportunities. I thought this job would be a stepping stone but it’s nothing but a struggle.
