Pros
Working in the bootcamps is very rewarding if you can stomach the constant lack of support and organisational chaos.
Cons
The CEO cannot make up his mind and often undoes hours of work because he’s had a change of heart. There are hours upon hours of unpaid overtime that if you refuse, you are openly reprimanded for in front of the team. Staff members are openly berated in front of other team members, and staff members have regularly been reduced to tears in front of other employees. There is no support and middle management are completely incompetent. Junior staff members carry the teams and are not rewarded financially or given the opportunity for career growth. There have been several sexist and xenophobic comments made by the CEO. There is no functioning HR department and zero confidentiality in senior leadership - everyone knows everybody else’s personal issues. Organisationally the company cannot cope with day to day operations. There is a large amount of favouritism and only the “inner circle” are rewarded with pay rises and promotions. The CEO will continuously promise organisational change which never happens. Upper and middle management have bullying tendencies and are extremely rude to junior staff members.
