Pros
You get a good feeling working for a family-owned and -operated company, especially when its services are something you don't have to feel guilty about pitching. Andersen delivers well-made products, and being a canvassing representative means you get the chance to offer help to people who really are in need, and you are the first person to understand the urgency of that need. Befriending homeowners and getting them to trust you within minutes is a very difficult skill to learn, but if you work at it, it becomes a skill that you can carry with you for the rest of your life, and it is SO useful.
Cons
Walking for several hours a day all over multiple neighborhoods, with almost no breaks and with very little water to keep you going, will take a toll on your health, as I can attest to personally.
