      The pay is the only thing at this point.

      Cons

      Everything, they will work you like a dog and in my case the principal will be okay with someone being racist towards you and letting another teacher hit you and do nothing about it.

      Pros

      At an EAS school, there is more autonomy. It is not so microamnaged. Free Pre-k for your kids. Available bonus pay through PFP model.

      Cons

      Not much coaching happening at EAS schools (for a first year teacher that may be difficult). Not all elementary schools have Pre-k so your kid may not attend the school you work at. I am finding out my new salary on THE DAY I RETURN TO WORK. Crazy.
