Understaffed and disorganized - Maintenance Technician Home2 Suites Employee Review

Staff, though mostly good people, were stressed and rushed because of the understaffing. Having worked maintenance elsewhere where I implemented CMMS software to manage work orders for myself and my team, this place was in total disarray in comparison. They used paper WO tickets, post-it notes, texts, verbal communication -- It was a mess. I was told that getting something like UpKeep, though not expensive, would never happen. "The owners are cheap." I was let go just before 90 days for "absenteeism", but I don't see how that makes any sense. Then I heard from others that this has happened to the last maintenance guys to avoid health insurance stuff. Something like that.
