Pros

- Flat and open culture where individuals are able to voice their suggestions and be heard - Able to handle and learn from diverse portfolio of projects as Hipster manages a variety of companies from E-commerce, event industries and even game related companies. - Really fun and nurturing environment for career growth In summary, I really enjoy working at Hipster as the bosses really appreciate your efforts and care for your well-being and I am glad I found a good boss and place where I can hone my project management skills in tech and even coming from a financial background with no experience in tech, I have learnt a lot from our developers which is a great learning journey for me!

Pros

The boss is good at gaslighting, late payment, tons of ot.

Cons

Working at this company was a deeply disappointing experience due to poor management and unprofessional leadership. When concerns were raised, they were met with defensiveness or personal criticism rather than constructive discussion. Management seemed to care more about how late you stayed than the actual work you did. OT was just taken for granted (ot no pay btw, no appreciation, just expected as part of the job) and leaving on time was often frowned upon. The boss frequently sent messages after working hours, Be expected to receive messages up until 2300+ and sometimes there were even meetings that dragged on that late too. No respect for work-life balance. You couldn’t make plans after work because things were constantly scheduled last minute. You’re paid the bare minimum but management still tries to squeeze every last bit out of you. There’s no real appreciation for your work either. Promises made during the interview process (such as bonuses and reasonable working hours) never happened. The whole onboarding and offboarding experience reflected the company’s lack of structure, communication, and professionalism. Overall the environment was exhausting, traumatising and demotivating.
