The team is amazing - lots of tenure at the individual contributor and manager levels and people are passionate about the brand. Brand is well known and loved by many. Team is flexible and nimble, able to change and adjust very quickly. Vertically integrated with manufacturing so a quicker timeline than most bringing new products to market. My boss was amazing and I would definitely work for her again.

PE backing so pressure to turn a high quality boutique brand that has done well in specialty retail into a mass brand at scale. Pressure to regularly develop a high number of new SKUs from senior leadership without evaluating category performance or over saturation of market. Lack of articulated strategy from the top. Constant changes after decisions have been made and resources spent that require unnecessary team rework and frustration that affects the company culture. Leadership often allows the sales team to make branding and marketing decisions for the organization. Some leaders exhibit a lack of confidence in the skills and experience (based on conversations and decisions that have been made) of some groups in the corporate office which leads to a culture of distrust.
