The people at the individual contributor level are talented, hardworking, and genuinely care about the product and customers. There are smart teams, strong institutional knowledge, and opportunities to learn a lot about e commerce and SaaS if you are proactive.
Cons
In my experience, the company culture favors personal relationships over merit, which creates a strong sense of favoritism and perceived nepotism. Leadership decisions often felt disconnected from reality on the ground, with performance numbers selectively highlighted while inconvenient data or honest feedback was ignored. Employees who raised concerns or challenged narratives appeared to be sidelined or pushed out rather than supported. This created a culture of fear, burnout, and distrust, especially during periods of restructuring and cost cutting.
