Pros
Coworkers were always friendly and sincerely willing to help, there never were dumb questions. Preferred to promote from within with enough vertical positions to really build a long-term career. Great at measuring and rewarding goal achievement (including performance and professional development goals).
Cons
HR made a show of surveying staff for input on company-wide decisions but it was clear that our feedback was taken with a grain of salt. Departmental volunteer opportunities were repeatedly offered to a few selective employees making it a struggle for others to find ways to step-up and stand-out.
