Pros

Good PTO benefits, nice commission type incentives for selling service plans on select items and membership programs.

Cons

The company is very tight with their payroll budgets and they always expect above and beyond results and perfection within those budgets which is impossible. Many days you will see only 2-3 employees working at any given time and one of them is the manager. They do not take any time to properly train associates when they are first hired on so turnover is horrible. The pay and hours are extremely low for PT employee's but they expect you to be available to work anytime/any day and have completely open availability. Store managers are micromanaged by the DM and have no real authority to make decisions on their own. Whatever you do do not sign on to be a part of the warehouse team, that team works very hard for very little money and never gets the recognition they deserve for their hard work. Directives are piled on from the corporate office daily and multiple times a day, complete chaos type environment in these stores.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
