Management is a complete joke, starting from the top. The two CEOs are out of touch and honestly full of shite. They'll preach to you about all of these incredible things the company does for you any chance they get - in reality its all a load of hot air.
Complete boys club with casual sexism and micro aggressions built into the very core of the office culture/chat (most of the time this is driven by people leaders in the business). Again, they'll tell you about all of these diversity initiatives/successes until they are blue in the face (often to the point where its blatant gaslighting). The reality is once you stop listening to the noise its pretty obvious its a place run by men, and diverse hires are there to tick a box rather than with the purpose of bringing a diverse perspective to the table.
The pressure is relentless - like nothing I've ever experienced. All recruitment roles are pretty full on, but HK expects you to take it to the next level. If your life revolves around your job then you'll do well here - just look at all of the people in people management positions. They'll talk about how they offer a flexible working environment and then move onto how you should be sending CVs at 7pm on a Sunday all in the same sentence. Its actually mind-blowing how they don't seem to get the irony there (this is common theme in most of your interactions with the business leaders)
