Pros
Even though the company is growing fast, there's a clear sense of being with friends and family. You are respected and protected by the team The products HackerEarth has, are competing at a global level. This is really exciting because you will get to work with top notch brands. Also, you see the products evolve in front of your eyes, there's always a new feature added to Sprint and Recruit; you can feel the product team is truly pushing hard to accelerate the roadmaps, always delivering with the highest quality HackerEarth has an "open doors" policy in and you do have time to work along product, sales, ops, HR or marketing at all times You have direct access to Vivek and Sachin (CTO and CEO / Founders) to clarify anything you would like You have clear goals and expected results. These are done along with your direct manager. I personally had the chance to wear many hats and I was always given opportunities to take on more responsibilities and challenges. However, is up to you to earn those opportunities.
Cons
HackerEarth is growing fast. This means processes are still not in place and from day one you might feel everything is to be done "yesterday". So, if you -as a employee- like order and a long term clear path, this might not be the place for you. Linked to the previous one: if you do not get involved proactively in the company, you might feel "left out". My advice is to expand your HE network fast and get to know everyone. DO NOT be afraid of speak up and always mingle and say hi. You won't believe how all the doors are open for you.
