Access to wider HSBC initiatives, including community involvement. Broad spectrum of roles across different business functions which are in theory accessible to all employees.
Cons
Your working environment is entirely dependent on who your head of department is - seems obvious to say, but culture can change overnight with an internal restructure. Processes, controls, governance are over cumbersome and can severely impact project timelines - there is a lack of acceptance from stakeholders that this is a real issue. Real issue of staff being managed out if face doesn't fit, despite amount of internal leadership training.
