Pros
Mission is the improvement of human life Teams are collaborative Large company with locations across the country
Cons
Company always claimed they are a large ship that can sustain any storm, however they reduced salaries during Covid and failed to offer any special accommodations for employees (ie. emergency PTO, flexible hours, reduced expectations). Work load increased and salaries were reduced. All contract resources were eliminated and a hiring freeze was put in place - even if we were backfilling vacant positions. After sending their employees to work from home, it took 4-5 weeks before they even acknowledged resources for mental health support, wellbeing, childcare support etc. It was all about “how do we remain productive?” Before Covid I also struggled to find other opportunities within the company. I’ve heard many times that leadership hopes this is the employees’ last company, however they make it very difficult for internal candidates to move around. That’s probably the biggest downfall of the culture. Also, they have quite a bit of work to do on inclusivity and diversity. Company is kind of old fashioned in that regard.
