- Lied to constantly about career progression, always get out of paying you more.
- you get 4 minute comfort breaks and have a manager watching your every move. I’ve had messages from a manager asking why I’m still on a comfort break and it’s only been 10 minutes. We are dealing with high risk calls and trauma every single day!
- No sick pay, if you are poorly, you won’t be paid if you are off and it will hinder you getting promotions or pay rises.
- Management aren’t clinical and have no knowledge of counselling but try to tell you what to do or think they know better.
- Management contradict everything and treat you like a child.
- Management try to segregate and isolate everyone from each other, you’re not even allowed to use the stronger together chat anymore without a passive aggressive message from a manager.
For example a colleague put in the main chat “having IT issues” and a manager out “do you really need to put that in this chat?” What’s the point of being so passive aggressive and belittling?!
Vile place to work and I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
- High burn out in this role with no rewards or benefits.
- No care for staff well-being, they offer well-being Wednesdays where you can talk to a manager for 5 minutes. That’s it?!
