Pros

-4 weeks vacation -Benefits -half of coworkers are friendly If you like overtime, then go ahead and apply they will give you overtime and make it mandatory

Cons

-Work/life balance (they can get ridiculous with the overtime, even scheduling it Tuesday, cancelling it Wednesday, then reinstating it Friday and making it mandatory for Saturday) -growth (there is no tier system for my department, so unless the manager or supervisor quits, there is no room to advance)' Procedures clearly state employees need to have attended a "train the trainer" course in order to be able to officially train other employees, yet people who have only been here a few months are actively training other employees. This company takes a lot of shortcuts and gets over on a lot of employees. Since hardly any of the people have the courage to speak up when they are mistreated, speaking out will have them single you out, as if you are the only one who is bringing up issues with management or policies. They now have established a way to get in contact with HR and speak issues anonymously (hmm I wonder why?) and as other people have stated, the turnover rate is high because employees feel mistreated and as though they have no voice. There are so many excuses from management when it comes to why things are not getting taken care of that the employees voice concerns about. They want you to work and break your back, only to give you a review that only makes you out to be an average employee "like everyone else".

Pros

Good for phlebotomy experience Meet interesting people Learn to keep plates spinning Good health benefits, but not enough to outweigh the health impacts Learn working in a high-stress fast-paced work environment

Cons

Have to unlearn working in a high-stress fast-paced work environment High school drama and toxicity, management is the prom king/queen Cliquey dramatic management team Reneged agreements Playing favorites, rules for thee but not for me Private employee info gets spread, often by those who are relied upon to keep it private No work life balance or boundaries, and it's an admitted and perpetually unaddressed fault Have to be made to feel guilty for wanting to leave production, get a break, or go to the bathroom High turnover "Is everyone else working as hard as I am?",-Everyone, and eventually you
